What is Coaching?
Coaching is a future-focused conversation. You, as the coachee, control the agenda so you can focus on the outcomes you want. At the same time, as your coach, I will use my listening and questioning skills to help ‘guide the way’ – so you can achieve your goals more quickly than if you were working on your own.
What Coaching is not…
Coaching is not mentoring or consulting. You won’t be given advice or told what to do. As your coach, I won’t do the work for you. Instead, you will be empowered to make your own plans and choose the solutions that work for you, and you’ll be responsible for your own results.
Coaching is not therapy or counselling either. If you want to discuss unresolved issues or trauma from the past or problems occurring in your life right now, a therapist or counsellor would be better able to help.
What is NLP?
NLP (Neuro-linguistic Programming) is the the study and application of excellence in communication and behaviour. If appropriate, NLP interventions can help accelerate change and enable new and more effective ways of thinking and behaviour.
